Lead & Assistant Teachers

At Silver Spring Day School, we believe that young children learn through play and exploration, supported by the active and intentional engagement of the adults in their lives.  We know that the development of strong social-emotional skills, alongside the ability to ‘think outside the box’ are the keys to a child’s future success. We are a thriving, parent-participatory school in Four Corners, Silver Spring.  Our classrooms are run by a collaboration of a Lead Teacher, an Assistant Teacher, and a Parent-Participant.  We are looking for both Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our magical community.

Please submit: (1) a letter of interest, (2) a resume of relevant experience, and (3) names and contact information of at least two professional references to Ylla Bishop (ybishop@silverspringdayschool.org), Director.  Applications will be accepted and reviewed immediately. Positions will remain open until filled.
