Diána Hromockyj
Director, Operations

Mom to two SSDS alums – now 17 and 19 – Diána has worked in several different capacities at SSDS for over 15 years. After earning her BA in Russian Studies, she worked in the field of international development and education for various Washington, DC NGOs. After completing her MA in Teaching/ESOL at The School for International Training's Graduate Institute, she worked overseas managing US-funded projects, and teaching children and adults. Her most rewarding teaching experiences were in San Salvador, El Salvador and Cieszyn, Poland. After returning to the United States, Diána joined SSDS and is so thankful she did – a pretty terrific place to work! Diána suffers from a severe travel bug and can't live without music and crossword puzzles.
