Our Student Service Learning (SSL) Volunteer Application will open in early January as well. We can’t wait for SSL volunteers to join us for Summer Discovery 2025.
We have designed each Summer Discovery 2025 weekly session with a focus on all types of adventures with friends. Come explore with us!
3..2..1..Blast Off! What planet will we visit? How will we get there? Come with us on this adventure to explore the vast universe.

As we explore the jungle, will you see a monkey, swinging through the trees? A lemur, hanging by its tail? Or maybe a leopard, stalking its prey? Join us for a jungle safari!
We will push through tall swishy grass, squelch through the squishy mud, and hike across the forest floor. What do you think we will see when we come out of the forest? Will there be a bear in its lair? Or maybe it’s sitting in a chair? It’s our adventure to create.

Shhhh, let’s tiptoe through the fairy garden in hopes we see a fairy. Do you think if we make the fairies a house, they’ll come out for us to see? What about making a swing for them in a tree? Join us for a magical adventure.
As we dive into the ocean blue, what do you think will be there? Maybe we can take a ride on a Baby Beluga or get tangled in the arms of an octopus hug? There are so many adventures we can make in the deep blue sea.
Let’s explore the world of insects as we buzz around some flowers, wiggle through the grass, and glide across a pond with iridescent wings.
Summer Discovery is only open to students who are enrolled in the 24-25 school year + their siblings who are registered for the 25-26 school year: ages 2-5, must turn 2 by May 1st, 2025. Unlike our school year program, our Summer Discovery program does not require parent participation.
Important Notes about Payment & Lottery Process: SSDS will run a lottery for Summer Discovery. Current enrolled families who would like to join us for our summer program must complete a Summer Discovery Lottery Application through our family portal to be included in our random lottery selection. An invitation to our Summer Discovery Lottery Application will be sent on Friday, January 3rd via our Jovial Family Portal System.
