Praneetha is thrilled to be joining the SSDS team as a floater and assistant teacher in the 3s. After her sons, Rohan and Sunil Arthur, graduated from SSDS, she decided she wanted to continue with the SSDS family and will work in the classrooms, as well as, multicultural activities. She is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and earned her Bachelor's in Spanish and a Masters in Teachers of English as a Second Language at American University. She taught elementary Spanish, ESOL and reading remediation with DCPS and DC Charter Schools, for 11 years. She has led Indian dance residencies for the 2/3s class and Pre-K at SSDS, and runs her own Indian dance school. Working with Ms. Beth and Ms. Lee, Praneetha looks forward to meeting your children and fostering a love of learning, kindness and friendship.
