Mary Vasse is the parent of a SSDS alum, now age 16. Her daughter has enjoyed helping with SSDS camps and still enjoys the friendships that started in her years at SSDS. Leading fundraising for Potomac Conservancy, a regional water protection nonprofit organization, Mary is continuing a career in environmental conservation, fundraising, partnership management, and grant-making. Mary and her family enjoy hikes on local trails and in the city. Mary earned her Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in regional and environmental planning, and her Bachelor’s from Hobart & Williams Smith Colleges in urban studies.
