Melodie George is a New Orleans native now rooted in Silver Spring, where she lives with her wife and daughter. Luna joined the SSDS family in Rolling 2s, and now as a 3s parent, Melodie can say without hesitation that this community has been everything they hoped for and more. She has loved getting to know the incredible teachers, staff, and fellow parents along the way. As Secretary, Melodie is excited to give back to a school that has given her family so much. Professionally, Melodie leads marketing and communications for a DC-based association. Outside of work, Melodie loves getting outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and is happiest curled up with a great book.
