Catey is thrilled to be part of this magical community as a Pre-K teacher. With a BA in English/Communications and Theatre, Catey built an early career as a young actress in Children’s Educational Preforming Arts. Catey owns a small Yoga and Fitness business and has worked for many years operating and instructing all types of Yoga, Fitness and movement classes. Catey embraces play, silliness and imagination and believes that all early childhood learning is rooted in exploration and curiosity. A lover of nature, travel, beaches and all things outdoors. Catey brings a kind, engaging and purposeful energy into her classroom. At home you can find Catey crafting (all the crafts all the time!), practicing handstands, and enjoying her time with her husband and two children (one whom also attends SSDS and another who is an alumni!) and hanging with her dogs.
