Emily is a former elementary educator turned stay at home mom. Her family was lucky enough to find the SSDS community in 2017 when her oldest daughter was a Rolling 2, and now her youngest daughter will be in Pre-K. Emily has enjoyed participating as a co-op parent and is a former member of the SSDS Board of Directors. This past year, Emily was able to spend a lot of time at SSDS as a sub, which reminded her how much she loves being in the classroom. She is excited to get back to her teaching roots! When not at SSDS, Emily loves to exercise, read, drink dark roast coffee, and spend time with her kids, husband, and their two dogs.
