Sarah is a licensed board-certified music therapist and piano teacher turned SAHM when her second daughter was born the day the pandemic shut everything down. She was fortunate to be able to stay home, at that time in Indianapolis, IN, with her two daughters, but has continued her desire to create music with others. In the spring of 2022, Sarah’s husband’s job provided them the opportunity to relocate to Silver Spring, MD. She fell in love with Silver Spring Day School to enroll her daughters in and with it, the chance to provide music classes as a Specials Teacher felt like it was meant to be. Sarah values SSDS’s play based approach and similarly, provides music classes with an emphasis on the process over product. When she isn’t making music, Sarah can be found exercising, reading for her book clubs surrounded by her 3 furry pets, and exploring the new area with her family.
